Last Saturday was great! 5th Coy Primers participated in the football tournament at the Inter-polytechnic Olympic Day (IPOD). I feel that this year's team was much stronger than last year's. This time, not only are we able to better our performance last year, but we even managed to win the competition! The amazing thing is, we only scored TWO goals in the entire tournament. In the group stage, the first two games ended in a stalemate. When it comes to the last game in the group stage, we had to secure a win to even stand a chance to qualify for the semi-finals. All seemed lost when we were still held 0-0 at the final minute of the game. In the dying seconds, Fredrick blast a left-footed shoot straight into the roof of the net. 1-0, we qualified with 5 points. In the semi-finals, again we won by a scoreline of 1-0, courtesy of Shan Bin's individual run down the left flank, before cutting in and sending a curling shot to the far end of the 'keeper's goal. The finals was exciting, with both team venturing forward to search for goals. But, a pity, the game ended in another stalemate. So it had to be decided by a penalty shootout. And yup, we won the penalty shootout 2-1 and won the tournament. I felt that we deserve the win. After all, the better team won.

I enjoyed these few days! Because I had fun preparing and celebrating someone's 21st birthday. Before I do this, let me take a deep breath. *Breathes in*

A brand new blogskin, a new start to my blog... hopefully. I'm really attracted to this blog skin, because it's one of my favourite colour combination. Black and green, although not contrasting, have a strange harmony when put together. Those who agree with me, say "I".

I finally went for a jog! I always have a problem with procrastination. With regards to my plans to go for jogs, I've wanted to go for a jog since last Friday, but somehow, it dragged and dragged until today. Oh well, at least I've started. Hope it will last as I really need to improve my stamina.

Off to buy some stuff! ¡Adiós!

I enjoyed my 18th birthday.

It was the best birthday I had in years. I don't know why, but for the pass few years, I felt forgotten. Don't get me wrong, I'm not blaming anyone, but I just got that feeling.

Alright, unhappy thoughts aside. There are many people I wish to thank for making this day special (How many times have you seen this on various blogs?). Thanks to those who text me to wish me, Winston for making me go around Orchard Road to shop for gifts for other people on MY birthday, Chongdesheep for celebrating my birthday during cell, thanks to Iwan, Pei Jun and Shy for having supper with me, thanks to those who got my gifts, thank my family, and of course, THANK GOD THAT I'M ALIVE FOR EIGHTEEN WHOLE YEARS AND ALL THAT HE HAD DONE FOR ME, FOR HIS PROVIDENCE FOR MY FAMILY. Ah, the never ending list of thanksgiving.

Hope each year will get better and better. =)
